Dad`s Bar-B-Que in Anniston

First time trying Dad's. I have to say, it was awesome. Family meal was reasonably priced and very good. I will definitely be back! The lady at the front door was very helpful and sweet.

The food was great they have improved a lot because I had stopped going in there to eat but I love it now I pray they keep up the good work

I went through the drive thru to get some chopped bbq for a birthday party at home. First of all, let me say that the food was great. It was the redeeming factor of the visit. For the price, I should have gotten a lot more. It's been a few weeks since I'd gotten bbq meat to go home; the price had gone up. Secondly, and the real problem for me was the staff. They were just rude. They acted more like they were doing me a favor by allowing me to purchase food from them. They never said thank you; anything nice. Just rude. Not cool at all.

For the world of them they just can't get their drive through orders right. The food is good even if it's not what you ordered.

I had the regular bbq sandwich. It is just the right size, fair priced, consistently good everytime I've gotten it.

I went to the dad's BBQ on quintard in Anniston. They advertise smoked chicken and BBQ chicken. I don't eat pork so I went there to get BBQ chicken. First of all, the chicken was not grilled or smoked. It looked and tasted like it was boiled. Terrible. They put a little BBQ sauce on top of it. Sides were cold. I was very disappointed. It costs $12.74. I won't be going there anymore.

Dads bbq have wonderful staff me and my mom and I and also a friend of mine were in a really bad car accident today...and they came and checked on us they were so sweet and caring

The ribs and onion rings are great! The price however varies... used to be about $14.00 for the rib plate special.. next time $17.00 and today same thing over $20... every shift has a different price! Great food if you can afford it.. (don't let them know how much you have to spend)

Not bad for BBQ in Alabama. I'm from Texas and BBQ there is totally different. The smoked chicken is delicious. Mac n cheese is delicious. They forgot any kind of buns or anything but that's ok, the chicken is good by itself. The fried green tomatoes tasted like french fries.

This place is fantastic...The food is incredible and the service is second to none.

I'm giving a 1 for the food. The servers were very sweet. The dressing was dry and over cooked. The baked potato had been sitting in the warmer so long it had turned brown on the inside and hardened. The fried green tomatoes had too much breading, and still tough on the inside. I asked for cheddar muffins and got hot bread. Couldn't even be considered toast. For the price? This was absolutely not worth it. Kitchen needs a new cook.

Traveling through town during vacation found this Barbecue Joint. Great service and absolutely the best smoked wings I have ever had. I love my Barbecue and this was wonderful.

Very good food, and judging from my visits, very popular. Clean atmosphere combined with decent prices and attentive staff make this my 2nd favorite BBQ in this area.

Called in my order...Only got half of it...Paid full price...This place is a rip off

The fried green tomatoes was not edible. I don’t know who fried these but they didn’t fry them long enough.Tasted like flour. The barbecue sandwich was dry and did not have enough sauce on it. The fries and the ranch was the only thing that was good. Been this way the past couple of times I have been there. I won’t go back again.

Oh my goodness. Those ribs... My first visit. This is the Dad's near 202 in Anniston. My goodness, the ribs are so good I didn't use sauce. Smoky, tender, yummy goodness. The fried green tomatoes would have been better if cooked a little more but everything was so good. My brother ordered a lunch sandwich special; the smoked turkey sandwich, slaw, and potato salad. The potato salad was odd compared to the potato salad you normally get but still had a decent flavor. It tasted like it was made with baked potatoes instead of boiled potatoes. Kinda weird but still good. The employees were friendly, the dining area and bathrooms were clean. Next time I'm in Anniston I will go back!

They left the fries out of my order. I had to drive 20 minutes back to pick them up. Then I get the "have a blessed day" on the way out the door. Never going back. It's very expensive for what you get. Sides are very expensive!! Foods not good enough for the price!! Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else!!!!

Subpar and uninformative wait staff. BBQ was alright. BBQ chicken was bland. Out of ribs which they were on the menu as a regular item. Should have included when available. Yes it was close to time to close but they could of told us in the beginning so we could of gone somewhere else than serve us subpar food.

Love this place! My finance took me here for my bday lunch! We go all the time. Great down home feel. Great service.

Great old style smoked BBQ joint. They use only hickory unlike others who add filler wood. Food is scratch made in store daily. Always fresh. Friendly staff. Prices are high as most places but you get what you pay for.

Prices so high they’ll make your head spin. Can’t afford to buy microwave food and dry meat for $15. Everyone should do themselves a favor and try any of our other great bbq restaurants in town. Dads is the worst of them all.

They need to do something about running out of smoked chicken! This happens all the time! You would think they would cook enough till closing time!

The food was good but for the price it was not worth it ..For a BBQ pork plate with 2 sides and a drink was over $12.00 .And thats fine but the portion you recieve is just sad. I.mesured It out and didn't even fill up a 8 oz measuring cup . I called thinking it was a mistake to be told.nope the amount u get is 6 ozs . Will not be going back Also the menu online prices are like 40% less than the actual price . A bbq plate was $5.98 online and almost 10 there .
